The salary for this position is competitive, and applicants should possess at least two years of relevant teaching experience.

This amazing SEND school is looking for an experience SEN Teacher that has an understanding of special educational needs. Our school is designed to engage students in their education with a personalised approach and we want to welcome a dedicated SEN Teacher to supporting students from January 2025.SEN Teacher Key Responsibilities:

Supporting a class of 5-7 students
Planning, leading and teaching classroom activities
Monitoring and recording progress both academically and against EHCP's
Working closely to keep students engaged, motivated and inspired
Working closely with Teaching Assistants so they can effectively support pupils

QTS (Qualified Teaching Status) or relevant teaching qualification
Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for a new DBS)
Excellent Primary or secondary curriculum knowledge
Experience Teaching in SEND Settings
Willingness and adaptability to contribute to the wider school and local community.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
