We are seeking a passionate SEND Teacher to support children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) in Years 4, 5, and 6. You will work closely with the SENDCo and classroom staff to provide tailored teaching that helps students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan and deliver lessons to support SEND students with differentiated learning and tailored strategies.
- Work closely with the other staff to create and implement personalised learning plans (PLPs).
- Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching methods as needed.
- Foster an inclusive classroom environment where all children feel valued and supported.
- Liaise with parents and external agencies to ensure effective support.
- Manage classroom behaviour and support social-emotional development.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in supporting children with SEND.
- Knowledge of strategies for supporting children with a range of SEND.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Passion for inclusion and dedication to meeting the needs of every child.
