This amazing SEND school is looking for an experience SEN Teacher that has an understanding of special educational needs. Our school is designed to engage students in their education with a personalised approach and we want to welcome a dedicated SEN Teacher to supporting students from January 2025.SEN Teacher Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting a class of 5-7 students
  • Planning, leading and teaching classroom activities
  • Monitoring and recording progress both academically and against EHCP's
  • Working closely to keep students engaged, motivated and inspired
  • Working closely with Teaching Assistants so they can effectively support pupils

Applications are most welcome from teachers with the following attributes;

  • QTS (Qualified Teaching Status) or relevant teaching qualification
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for a new DBS)
  • Excellent Primary or secondary curriculum knowledge
  • Experience Teaching in SEND Settings
  • Willingness and adaptability to contribute to the wider school and local community.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
