SEN Teacher

Daily Rate: £130 - £250 (depending on experience)
Location: Ealing
Job Type: Long-term, Temporary (starting September) will be reviewed in September 2025

We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teacher to join a supportive SEN school in Ealing, teaching Year 7 students. This long-term, temporary role is an excellent opportunity for a compassionate individual with a passion for special education to make a significant impact on students’ lives.

Day-to-day of the role:

Deliver tailored educational activities to Year 7 students with a range of special educational needs.
Create a safe, supportive, and stimulating learning environment that accommodates individual learning styles.
Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with other educational professionals.
Monitor and assess students’ progress, adapting teaching methods to meet their needs and abilities.
Engage with parents or guardians to discuss their child’s progress and strategies to support learning at home.
Participate in school meetings and professional development opportunities related to SEN teaching.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Experience in special education teaching is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of the educational needs of children with SEN.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, staff, and parents.
Ability to plan and deliver creative and differentiated lessons.
Patience, empathy, and a commitment to inclusive education.
