Academics Rochester is working with a Primary School in the borough of Greenwich to recruit a specialist SEN Teacher. As an educational provider that delivers outstanding care and education for children, it supports learners in the school and designated provisions with complex learning difficulties, disabilities, sensory impairments, communication disorders, and autism.

As a Specialist SEN Teacher, you will be part of an exceptional school team, teaching a class of no more than eight students with 3 additional support staff. The school caters to students aged 4-11 years old, each piupil will be following an individualized curriculum designed to meet their unique needs. You will be supported by a dedicated team of SEN teachers, senior leaders, and on-site therapists, all working together to provide the highest standard of education.



The Role

We are seeking a Specialist SEN Teacher who is passionate about making a difference for students with complex needs. This role offers:

  • A positive, aspirational approach that fosters progress through meaningful, small steps.
  • Experience in similar roles in specialist schools or Primary Primary/EYFS experience desirable.

The school will be expanding the SEN provision they offer in September 2025. There is an opportunity for the successful candidate to be considered to lead and manage a new DEsignated Specialist Provision in september 2025.
