Great opportunity to join a Major UK charity as their Assistant Head of Fundraising / Philanthropy to strengthen the scale and value of all major donations pipelines, deliver excellent personalised services and relationships and drive engagement of initiatives to increase size, scope and numbers of donations.

As Assistant Head of Fundraising / Philanthropy, you will be crucial to ensuring an income stream sufficient to resource the future strategy and direction of the Charity. In addition, you will play a critical role in delivering the major donor programme, inspiring individuals to make transformational donations to support all work across the UK. You will also form part of the senior leadership team within the wider Philanthropy department.

To be successful in this role you will have;

  • Substantial experience of running a major fundraising donor programme within a complex organisation
  • An outstanding track record of delivery across fundraising charity and large/major donor engagement
  • A proven ability to build and engage networks and identify new opportunities
  • Numerical with experience of monitoring and reporting of income as well as managing expenditure and budgets
  • The ability to influence at a senior level and become a trusted partner and influencer across the market
  • Experience of people leadership to inspire and motivate teams to deliver outstanding results and relationships
