Role Overview: As a High Value Relationships Manager, you will be instrumental in elevating the charity's relationship fundraising efforts. You will leverage your strong interpersonal skills, results-driven mindset, and proven track record in securing funding from trusts, foundations, and institutional funders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Account Management & New Business: Develop comprehensive plans with the High Value Lead to manage existing accounts and secure new business.
  • Targeted Fundraising: Drive targeted asks for 5- and 6-figure donations to support strategic goals.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional service to high-value supporters through bespoke reports and updates, ensuring they feel connected and valued.
  • Collaborative Campaigns: Work with the External Affairs team to create compelling multi-year cases for support and test innovative approaches.
  • Opportunity Management: Identify and manage high-value funding opportunities from inception to completion, collaborating with colleagues across the charity.

Skills and Experience:

  • Proven success in securing funding from trusts, foundations, and institutional funders, with an annual income target of approximately £400k or more.
  • Dynamic, results-oriented, and proactive in identifying and pursuing opportunities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, capable of building genuine and trusting relationships.
  • Clear communicator and confident networker, adept at tailoring messages to different audiences.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of customer service.
  • Excellent knowledge of the high-value funder landscape.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve significant income targets, including 5-figure donations and repeat funding.
