An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Supporter Services Manager to join a leading health charity organisation. This is a full-time, interim role within the Fundraising directorate, responsible for leading the strategic direction and operational management of the Supporter Services team.
Key responsibilities of the role:
- Lead and manage the Supporter Services team, with 3 direct reports, ensuring high performance and alignment with organisational goals
- Oversee supporter enquiries, donation processing, and financial compliance
- Develop training programmes to enhance team capabilities
- Maintain compliance with GDPR, Gift Aid, and other regulatory standards
- Identify opportunities to improve supporter care and operational efficiency
- Collaborate with internal teams to integrate supporter engagement strategies
- Ensure effective thanking communications and complaint resolution
- Manage high-volume periods and oversee fulfilment house operations
- Track performance against KPIs and manage financial reconciliation
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment
Ideal candidate profile:
- Experience in supporter services and income operations within a non-profit environment
- Strong leadership, mentoring, and decision-making abilities
- Knowledge of CRM systems, financial reconciliation, and charity compliance
- Proven ability to improve operational processes and engagement strategies
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills
- Adaptability to changing priorities in a dynamic environment
- Commitment to the organisation’s values and a passion for supporter engagement
Location: Hybrid working (3 days on-site)
Salary: £28 - £30 per hour
Working hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week
Contract: 3-6 months
