Our client, a leading, international educational charity working with teenagers through to young adults is seeking a Senior Trusts and Major Donor Fundraiser to join their team. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in securing funding through well-researched and compelling applications to Trusts and Foundations, while maintaining excellent relationships with existing major donors.Reporting to the Head of Fundraising, this is a newly created role, and an exciting time to join the organisation as they look to grow their non-statutory income. Headquartered in Central London, this is a hybrid position - 2 days working from home and 3 days in the office.Furthermore, they are happy to consider to consider candidates looking for either full time (5 days) or part time (4 days) work. Duties will include;* Ambassador for the charity and show passion for the cause* Securing donations and managing relationships with Trusts, Foundations and Major Donors* Identifying prospective new Trusts and Foundations, establishing a solid pipeline* Writing well-researched, detailed, engaging applications* Conduct and compile accurate reporting to Funders and monitor progress on the organisations database* Conduct due diligence checks on prospective Major Donors* Draft compelling marketing material for Major Donors - from canvassing through to acknowledgement of donation and invitations to events* Assisting the wider team with Fundraising and Awareness events throughout the year* Assisting with Fundraising reports* Assisting with keeping an up to date database You will have experience with:* Producing academic, tailored Trust and Foundation applications* Reporting for donors or other stakeholders* Researching and identifying new prospects* Excellent writing skills, with the ability to draft compelling material * Donor relationship management * Use of CRM databases* Not for profit organisations, including understanding of other fundraising areas* Highly numerical with excellent attention to detail* Highly personable This is a fabulous opportunity for an experienced Trusts, Grants & Major Donor Fundraiser with previous experience to work within a nationwide not for profit organisation.
