Work for a large charity as a permanent Volunteer Manager/ Community Fundraising Manager (£32,910 - £35,282 per annum, South East London & hybrid).

As the Volunteer Manager/ Community Fundraising Manager, you will coordinate all fundraising activity in their area (South East London), ensuring that supporters and other key stake-holders (members, local authorities, partners etc.) receive the support necessary to maximise the impact of the appeal.

To manage day-to-day relationship with supporters ensuring all financial activity is cost effective and compliant. To ensure that all supporters have a great experience whilst supporting the charity, ensuring that the necessary support and help is available.

  • Recruit and induct new volunteers.
  • Build effective relationships with stakeholders.
  • Provide accurate and timely monthly commentary to your manager.
  • Identity, plan and monitor progress of key activity (in the regional fundraising plan) to deliver the income and expenditure set out in the budget/reforecast.
  • Manage the activity of a range of local supporters and partners

  • Relationship building and the drive to contribute to growth of donations and volunteer recruits.
  • Someone who lives or can commute to South East London regularly.

What we offer

  • Permanent.
  • £32,910 - £35,282 (Inclusive of London Supplement).
  • 2 days on site, 3 days wfh.
  • 35 hours per week.

  • 28 day's paid holiday per year (plus bank holidays), increasing to 29 days after 2 years and 30 days after 5 years. Plus the ability to buy up to 1 working week of additional leave.
