We are looking for a passionate and creative trade sales consultant to join a prestigious, high end interiors business. This role blends relationship driven sales with design expertise, working closely with interior designers, architects, and trade professionals to bring their creative visions to life.

As part of the sales team, you’ll use your product knowledge and commercial acumen to consult on projects, offer tailored design solutions, and build long lasting client relationships.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with luxury interiors in a dynamic, creative, and collaborative environment!

Key Responsibilities in this role:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with trade clients, including interior designers, architects, and specifiers.
  • Provide expert product and design advice, listening closely to customer needs and recommending tailored solutions.
  • Present new collections and design concepts to trade professionals, bringing creative ideas to life.
  • Prepare quotes and proposals, ensuring a professional, efficient, and friendly service.
  • Represent the brand at product launches, industry events, and trade shows.
  • Actively engage in client outreach, identifying new opportunities and following up on leads.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and sales team to align trade sales strategies with product launches.
  • Ensure the showroom and sample library are beautifully presented, reflecting the brand’s luxury aesthetic.
  • Maintain and update the sales database, ensuring accurate records of client interactions.

Skills & Experience we’re looking for:

  • Proven experience in a trade sales role, ideally within luxury interiors, furniture, textiles, or homeware.
  • A strong creative eye with an appreciation for design, interiors, and aesthetics.
  • First-class relationship-building and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • A commercial mindset, with the ability to spot opportunities and drive sales.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, particularly when preparing quotes and project specifications.
  • A proactive, customer-centric approach with a passion for luxury products.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, with experience using Apple Mac and CRM systems being a plus.
  • A team player with a positive, adaptable attitude.
