We are delighted to announce exciting opportunities for qualified registered healthcare professionals to join our team as a Functional Assessor here at Ingeus UK in various sites across London & the South-East, part of the global human services provider APM Group.

As a Functional Assessor, your primary responsibilities will be:

- Carry out Work Capability Assessments (WCA) - this is a functional assessment which looks at a range of different activities relating to physical, mental, intellectual and cognitive functions, to determine whether an individual could reasonably be expected to work or undertake work related activity.- Preparing detailed reports and recommendations for submission to the Department of Work and Pensions- Collaborating with colleagues to provide high-quality service to claimants?and contribute to the continued improvement and service excellence of health assessment services in the UK.

What we are looking for:

- At least 12-month’s post-registration experience gained in the UK as an NMC registered nurse or HCPC physiotherapist or occupational therapist in the UK- Experience treating a wide range of physical conditions preferred- Strong critical analysis and logical thinking skills- Proficiency in IT tools for documentation and communication
