- Provide general care and companionship for the principal
- Administer bedside and personal care to principal, when required, such as aid in bathing, personal hygiene, dressing and undressing. May be required to perform routine health related duties such as changing non-sterile dressings, assisting in the administration of medications and collecting specimens under the general direction of a nurse or medical professional.
- Perform light housekeeping and service duties
- Responsible for the administration of medications
- Accompanying the principal to medical appointments and social engagements
- Working alongside the household team including housekeepers, chefs, butlers, drivers and the admin team
- Assisting the principal with her mobile phone for either connecting calls or sending texts and emails as required by the principal
- Providing wake-up calls to the principal as and when required
- Managing the medication inventory and completing the relevant medication documents.
- Travelling with the principal as and when required both in the car and on the plane / helicopter.
- Complete medical tests such as blood pressure, blood oxygen levels, temperature, etc. as directed by the doctor
- Responsible for amending the medication inventory as directed by the doctor
- Providing care during the night as and when necessary
- Attend regular meetings with the healthcare professionals who provide medical /healthcare to the principal
- Some international travel may be required
- 7am to 10pm (on-call overnight 3-4 days a week)
- 2 days off a week
- Relevant nursing or medical qualifications are highly desirable
- Fluent English language skills
- Basic IT and administrative skills required
- Full UK driving licence
