Are you a psychology or speech and language graduate seeking a Teaching Assistant post supporting pupils with speech and language difficulties?

We have a mainstream primary school looking to appoint an aspiring Speech and Language Teaching Assistant to support their SEN pupils.

The successful candidate must be a passionate and inspiring graduate who has previous experience working with SEN children (preferably with Speech and Language) either in a volunteer or paid capacity. The schools would like a Teaching Assistant for this post who has a happy, approachable attitude that students will take to and an ability to differentiate your approach to pupils with varying needs.

As a Teaching Assistant it is essential that you have skills to provide a caring, nurturing environment where everyone feels safe and secure. The ideal Teaching Assistant will be able to assess the pupils under your supervision and record your findings for the school to consider.
