Are you a dynamic and experienced Speech and Language Teaching Assistant looking to make a difference in a vibrant primary school environment? Sanza are proudly working in partnership with a primary school in Southwark who are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team and support students with their speech and language development.

Role Overview:

  • Provide individual and small group support to students with speech and language needs.
  • Assist in the delivery of tailored speech and language programs and interventions.
  • Work closely with speech and language therapists, teachers, and parents to track progress and adapt strategies.
  • Support classroom activities and promote effective communication skills among students.
  • Help create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of speech and language development.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with children
  • Experience working collaboratively with therapists and educators.
  • Relevant qualifications in Speech and Language Support or a related field are preferred.
  • A proactive and adaptable approach to supporting diverse needs.
