Are you a passionate SEN Teaching Assistant looking for your next challenge within a lovely SEN school based in Southwark?

Are you an experienced Support worker looking to make the switch to education with more regular and term time hours?

Have you got experience supporting people with Speech and Language difficulties?

This is an excellent opportunity for a recent Gradate looking to pursue a career within education!

The role would include:
-One to one or small group support for a child or children with Speech and Language difficulties.
-Very challenging behaviour
-The children will need to be supervised throughout the day

The school is based in Southwark and has a warm and welcoming team.

CONTRACT / POSITION DETAILS:

* Location - Southwark
* Position - Teaching Assistant
* Start date - ASAP start
* Full time
* The minimum rate of pay - 95 - 105 per day
* Hours 8.30am until 3.30pm

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

- Previous SEN experience with young people, ideally speech & language
- Previous experience supporting young people who can display challenging behaviour
- Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (essential, however training is provided)
- Up to date Prevent awareness training issued in the last 3 years (essential, however, training is provided)
- Up to date FGM & Behaviour management training issued (essential, training is provided)

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH REMEDY EDUCATION, YOU MUST:

- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide a minimum of two professional references
