Speech and Language Teaching Assistant | Part-Time: Thursday (Potential to Increase to 2 Days) | Kensington & Chelsea, W10 | Salary Dependant on Experience

Are you passionate about supporting children with speech and language needs? We are looking for a dedicated Speech and Language Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support to a Year 5 pupil in a vibrant primary school in Kensington & Chelsea.

About the Role:

  • Work 1 day per week (Thursday), with potential to increase to 2 days for the right candidate.
  • Support a Year 5 pupil with targeted speech and language interventions.
  • Collaborate with the school team to help the child overcome communication barriers and thrive in their learning.
  • Monitor and record the child's progress and behaviours, providing regular feedback to the class teacher and SENCo.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in delivering speech and language interventions in an educational setting.
  • A passion for working with children and helping them achieve their communication goals.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Flexible and adaptable to meet the needs of the pupil and the school.
