Speech and Language Therapist - Adult Neuro

Ackerman Pierce are looking for a Speech and Language Therapist to perform comprehensive speech and language assessment (communication and / or swallowing) of people with diverse presentations and complex physical and psychological conditions, following a stroke. To use this assessment to provide a clinical diagnosis and develop and deliver an individualised treatment program.

Salary: £30/h

What you'll need as a Speech and Language Therapist - Adult Neuro:

  • Highly specialist knowledge acquired through degree or equivalent qualifications, including further theoretical training and experience to Master's level equivalent in required speciality
  • Continued Professional Development evidenced by attendance at short specialist postgraduate courses to maintain and develop own specialist knowledge and expertise.
  • Recognised Speech & Language Therapy Degree Qualification or equivalent (Post Graduate Diploma or MSc in Speech & Language Therapy leading to registration with HCPC)
  • HCPC Licence to Practice, Registered member of Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists, Membership of relevant CEN
  • 6 months of paid patient facing UK nursing experience from within the past 3 years
  • Up-to-date clinical best practice knowledge
  • The right to work in the UK
