Piers Meadows Recruitment is looking for a Band 6 Speech and Language Therapist to join their team in East London.
The position involves working across acute, rehabilitation, and community services as part of a rotational programme.
Candidates must have experience in providing specialist assessment and intervention for clients with communication and/or swallowing difficulties.
The role requires HCPC registration and offers a salary of £35,000 per year.
Applicants should also be prepared to supervise junior staff and participate in weekend and evening services.

Band 6 Speech and Language Therapist
Base: E9 and N1
Adult Community Rehabilitation Team
JOB SUMMARY:
- To work across acute, rehabilitation and community services as part of a rotational programme.
- Be responsible for and provide the specialist assessment and intervention to a designated caseload of clients with communication and / or swallowing difficulties in hospital and/or community settings.
- Participate in the delivery of a Saturday service in the hospital team.
- Help support patients’ recreational programmes by occasionally working evenings.
- Supervise junior staff, therapy assistants and students.
