About Us:

We are recruiting for an independent co-educational ABA. day provision for pupils between the ages of 4 and 16, providing education for pupils who have an autistic spectrum disorder and related conditions. We are currently recruiting a Band 5/6 Speech & Language Therapist to join multi-disciplinary team of professionals.

Role Overview:As a Speech and Language Therapist in Hillingdon, you will provide specialist assessments, diagnosis, and therapy services for individuals with speech, language, communication, and swallowing difficulties. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team and play a key role in supporting clients to improve their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessment and intervention planning
  • Group and individual therapy as required
  • Working within classes and providing consultative support as part of the multi-disciplinary team
  • Development and implementation of training for staff and other professionals
  • Report writing and record keeping

Requirements:

  • Highly motivated, passionate, dynamic and flexible
  • Understands the value of using an ABA methodology
  • Wants to grow with the school and become a fully immersed member of the team
  • Has relevant experience of working with young people with special needs, especially autism spectrum disorder
  • Has highly developed communication and interpersonal skills
  • Is RCSLT and HCPC registered
  • Hold a Bachelors or Masters Degree in Speech and Language Therapy.
