Job Opportunity: Sports / PE Coach for Primary School in Lewisham
Are you passionate about inspiring young people through sports? A primary school in Lewisham borough is seeking a dedicated Sports / PE Coach to join our team from January.
About the Role
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 11:30 am - 4:30 pm.
- Ideal Start Date: 6th January 2025
- Responsibilities:
- Supervising sports activities during lunchtime on the playground and football pitch.
- Teaching PE lessons for Nursery to Year 6 in the afternoons.
- Leading an after-school club from 3:30 pm to 4:25 pm daily.
- This role has the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
Requirements
- Experience working with children in a sports/PE setting.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- A positive, enthusiastic approach to engaging students of all ages and abilities.
Trial DayThe headteacher is keen to meet suitable candidates and will arrange trial days in December/January for this Sports / PE Coach role.
