About Us:

Our school in Southwark has an exciting, new opportunity available to deliver Sports sessions and work alongside SEN pupils. They are looking for an ambitious Sports Coach to join their primary team. The school has recently invested in new resources and equipment. It is an exciting time to join the school as a Sports Coach!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the classroom teacher work with SEN pupils.
  • Deliver Sports sessions to primary aged pupils.
  • Have good organisational skills.
  • Have good literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Provide one-on-one support to children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) when required.
  • Encourage social, emotional, and cognitive development.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Sports Qualification.
  • Experience: Previous experience working with SEN pupils
  • Knowledge: Good understanding of behaviour management
  • Desirable: Experience working with children with SEN in a school/ provision.
