Swimming Instructor Vacancy

Greenwich / South East London / January 2025 start

Remedy Education are working with a large SEN school is looking for Level 2 Swimming Instructors to join the friendly and professional team, to work across our differing programmes. The successful candidate should ideally have a background in aquatics and have a true love of teaching, ideally including experience of teaching Adult & Child swimming lessons.

Pre-requisites for the post include:

  • Level 2 Teaching Swimming Qualification (essential)
  • Lifesaving or Teachers Rescue Qualification (essential)
  • Level 2 Teaching Swimming to Babies and Toddlers (desirable)

The school's swimming programme includes:

  • Squad swimming as part of 'Games'
  • Primary School Programme and Community Learn to Swim Programme including lessons for Duckling, Learn to Swim Stages 1 to 6, Swim Academy (Stage 6 and above), Water Polo, Adults (beginners, improvers and training), and Crash Courses.

Additional hours may be available during term breaks for crash courses and to cover on curriculum and squad sessions.
