A specialist SEND school in Greenwich are looking for a Qualified Swimming Teacher to work full-time to support secondary aged pupils with complex, low incidence special educational needs from January 2025.

The Role

In this role you will be working with students from 11- 19 years old who have a range of special educational including PMLD, SLD or ASD. As an experienced Swimming Teacher, you will be supporting students to achieve their potential. Using your knowledge of practices, progression and teaching point.

The school are looking for a candidate who exhibits patience, friendliness and is approachable. They require a Swimming Teacher who can build people’s trust, motivate pupils and encourage with praise. You will require a STA Award or Swim Level 2 Qualified.

You would be responsible for the open and close procedures of the venue and supervising the lessons ensuring both quality and safety measures are being adhered to. Administration time is added for this.
