BCS Electrical and Building Services Ltd is seeking an experienced and dynamic Electrical Contract Manager to oversee a wide range of fire safety-related works within West London. The role will focus on managing the installation, maintenance, and upgrade of electrical systems, including fire detection, evacuation alert systems, smoke ventilation, and emergency lighting. The successful candidate will be instrumental in ensuring high standards of safety, quality, and compliance across the properties, both within and beyond the Borough boundary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage electrical contracts, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required safety and quality standards.
  • Oversee the installation of fire detection and alarm systems, including integrated systems in common areas.
  • Coordinate the installation of evacuation alert systems for use by Fire & Rescue Services.
  • Supervise the integration of emergency and communal lighting, as well as smoke ventilation systems.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards.
  • Liaise with stakeholders, contractors, and internal teams to ensure efficient project execution.
  • Manage the budget for assigned projects, including procurement and financial reporting.
  • Ensure effective communication and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Electrical Contract Manager or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of fire safety systems, including alarm systems, smoke ventilation, and emergency lighting.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong understanding of health and safety regulations related to electrical systems and fire safety.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders, contractors, and team members.
  • Relevant electrical engineering qualifications and certifications.
