Salary/Package - 58,000 - 60,000 Basic + Travel + Bonus + Benefits

About the Role:
My client is one of the UK's only LPCB level 4 accredited sprinkler contractors that have been privately owned for over 20 years. They are now seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their team, specialising in commercial sprinkler projects across London. This role involves managing costs, contracts, and financial controls for fire protection systems in commercial buildings, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the financial and contractual aspects of commercial sprinkler installations.
Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents.
Assess contract variations, change orders, and risk assessments.
Conduct valuations and financial reporting to ensure cost efficiency.
Liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
Ensure compliance with UK building regulations, health & safety laws, and LPCB standards for sprinkler systems.
Work closely with project managers to maintain accurate cost tracking and forecasting.
Negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers to achieve cost-effective procurement.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally within the mechanical or M&E industries. DOESNT HAVE TO BE SPRINKLERS.
Good knowledge of UK construction contracts (JCT, NEC3/4, etc.).
Understanding of commercial sprinkler systems and fire protection regulations.
Proficiency in cost estimating software and Excel.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Degree or HND in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
Full UK driving licence.
