Your new companyWe are recruiting for an exciting Procurement Analyst role for a leading professional services firm in Central London. This organisation has a newly created/ greenfield procurement function which is in the growth phase, aiming to go from 1 to 4 heads in the next few months. The Procurement Director has been brought in to address the organisation's spend areas covering anything from IT, networks, HR, professional services, facilities etc, with a large focus on technology.
Your new roleAs the Procurement Analyst, you will assist the procurement function in executing the procurement plans and strategies. This will involve analysing spend areas and categories of spend, clarifying budget requirements as well as obtaining sustainability data across your suppliers. This will be much needed in order for this organisation to hit their cost-savings targets. As well as the analytics, you will also be supporting supplier on-boarding and due diligence checks. If you have the experience, you will also support RFI processes, tender processes, supplier queries, and low value contract renewals.
What you'll need to succeedTo succeed in this role, you will be a strong communicator, and be proficient in Microsoft Excel. You will be highly analytical in order to work out procurement opportunities and efficiency across the business. You will be able to get into their London office twice per week and will be willing to take on a 6-month fixed-term contract, with the possibility for longer-term opportunities.
