Procurement Consultant

Venn Group is working with a large healthcare organisation to recruit Procurement Consultant to successfully lead an exciting new construction project.

Day rate: £500 - £600 (umbrella) dependant on experience

Duration: 3 months

Hours: 37.5 per week

Location: remote (occasional site visits)

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Awarding multiple professional service contracts to consultancies/advisory firms to determine feasibility of sites
  • Coordinating specifications and oversee tender / procurement processes
  • Evaluating and awarding contracts, ensuring governance is strictly adhered to throughout all procurement processes
  • Collaborating with stakeholders and clinical leads
  • Ensuring the scheme remains cost-efficient when awarding new tenders
  • Signing off on all contracts

The successful candidate must have:

  • Previous NHS or healthcare experience
  • Procurement experience with large construction projects or new builds
  • MCIPS qualification
