Your new roleThis role will be managing the procurement process, ensuring that goods and services are purchased at optimal value while maintaining strong supplier and internal relationships. This role focusses on continuous improvement initiatives to enhance procurement efficiency and effectiveness, with a particular emphasis on IT procurement. Responsibilities include areas such as managing the third-party due diligence process, ensuring adherence to procurement policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements will be a key part of the role, along with identifying and mitigating risks associated with procurement.What you'll need to succeedYou will need to have strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities, as well as excellent negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills. You will also need to have a good understanding of IT procurement, with experience across other relevant categories to excel in this role. You will need to be diligent when analysing data, generating insights and making informed decisions. CIPS is not a pre-requisite but will be highly advantegous but most importantly, you'll need a high level of integrity and ethical standards.What you'll get in returnYou will be a part of a growing procurement team with the benefit of adding innovative insights to help build this function out.
