Interim Procurement Specialist

Location: South east based, Hybrid working

IR35: Inside

Length: Initial 6-month contract (Potential to extend)

An opportunity has arisen with one of our South east based clients for two procurement specialists who are MCIPs qualified. To assist with increased workload capacity within the people services directorate.

Key responsibilities of the Interim Procurement Specialist:

  • Will be working on 4 large procurement such as: Old Peoples Residential, Homecare, Homes for those with Learning Difficulties and Supported living
  • Will be managing full end to end tenders
  • Supporting the commercial strategy they are developing and how they will deliver the big contracts
  • Key stakeholder relationship management
  • Designing and drafting various documents as well as responding to any clarification responses

Essential experience for the Interim Audit Fee Variation Reviewer:

  • Must be CIPS or MCIPS qualified
  • Must have local government experience
  • Adults social care experience
  • Must have procured under the Procurement Act 2023
  • PSR experience not essential but desirable
