Senior Procurement Manager

ARM have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Procurement Manager to join a major global infrastructure consultancy.

The Role:

  • Examine alternative approaches to procurement (direct funding - private capital and amortisation of investment) and rule in/out with appropriate supporting legal advice
  • Provide procurement advice on an asset wide basis relating to specific portfolio issues.
  • Manage the process for the measuring of supplier performance so that effective feedback takes place to facilitate continuous improvement.
  • Undertake stakeholder engagement within the client organisation, Operator Supply chain and Onboard Supply Chain taking lessons from other sector fitment strategies

Requirements:

  • A wide experience of working for Network Rail in a Procurement function and its suite of contracts as well as supporting systems such as BravoNR, Oracle Projects.
  • Sound commercial aptitude and sound knowledge of relevant Supplier Market.
  • Varied and successful procurement and contracts background with experience of negotiation and developing and implementing procurement and contract strategies.
  • Awareness of contract requirements safety and contract requirements environment.
