Arthur is pleased to partner with a leading insurance provider seeking a Capital Modelling Specialist/Actuary to join their dynamic pricing team. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with underwriting and expand into economic pricing for insurance transactions.Responsibilities:
  • Build and maintain the economic catastrophe model using Remetrica software.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of numerical data, managing large datasets effectively.
  • Analyse relationships and dependencies within capital models, including correlations.
  • Collaborate with pricing actuaries and underwriters to refine actuarial models.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports to stakeholders.
  • Support the development and implementation of new actuarial processes and methodologies.
Requirements:
  • Experience with capital modelling, particularly using Remetrica.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and handle complex data analysis.
  • Understanding of relationships and correlations within capital models.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office tools.
  • Progress toward actuarial qualifications is advantageous but not essential.
