Motion Designer

My client, a London-based Marketing Agency is looking for a Motion Designer to create brilliant social media content for a variety of clients within the finance and lifestyle spaces.

This is a full-time, permanent role. Hybrid with 2 days in their Central London office

ASAP start.

About the role

• Design and produce a variety of content pieces, including social media assets, web graphics, and animations, using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, and After Effects).
• Act as a primary point of contact for assigned clients, understanding their brand, goals, and project requirements.
• Manage client and stakeholder expectations by setting timelines, sharing progress updates, and presenting creative ideas in a professional and client-friendly manner.
• Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals, timelines, and deliverables.
• Lead the creative vision for assigned clients, adapting their brand identity to fit social media content and strategy.
• Collaborate with Client & Content Teams to ensure alignment with brand guidelines and project briefs.
• Add design elements like text, illustrations, and animations to video content for enhanced visual appeal.
• Ensure that all content is tailored to each client's needs and optimised for various digital platforms, including Facebook, X (Twitter), Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok.

About you

• Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite-especially Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, and After Effects.
• Skilled in creating clean vector illustrations and iconography; ability to replicate various illustrative styles as needed.
• Strong eye for layout design and attention to typographic details.
• Solid understanding of motion graphics principles and animation skills.
• Familiarity with Cinema 4D is a plus but not essential.
• Deep understanding of social media asset creation and design constraints across platforms.
• Skilled in managing relationships with clients and stakeholders, with the ability to present ideas diplomatically and adapt designs based on feedback.
