Business Support Officer

Southwark

16 per hour (umbrella)

Full Time Contract (3 Months)

Novax Recruitment is actively seeking a Business Support Officer in Southwark. This is a contract with a scope for extension working full time hours.

The job:

  • To set, maintain and review all record management systems to ensure that they are in accordance with the needs of the service.
  • To arrange meetings and events - book rooms, prepare and circulate agendas and papers and provide and circulate minutes and monitor follow up actions as necessary
  • To regularly input monitoring information to the relevant IT systems to ensure that records are up to date.
  • To assist the team in the compilation, co-ordination, collation and distribution of management data for the purposes of regular and ad-hoc reporting on all areas of the Business
  • To efficiently & accurately sort and log incoming mail, (both internal and external) including scanning and distribution, in accordance with procedures

The candidate:

  • Excellent working knowledge of the full Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio)
  • Experience working in an administrative capacity for a local authority is essential
  • Experience working in an administrative capacity in children's and adults' services is desirable
