Job Title: Business Support Officer (Repairs)

Location: Ealing, West London W5 2HL, 3 days a week office / 2 days remote

Hourly rate 23.19 PAYE / 30.17 UMB Per Hour

Contract Length: 3-month initial contract (possibility of extension)

Working Pattern: Full Time, Monday - Friday, 36 hours

ASAP Start

Role purpose:

  • To provide efficient and effective administration support to repairs and maintenance teams, surveyors, contractors and residents.
  • To act as the first point of contact for members of the public on repairs issues and updates.

Key responsibilities:

  • To manage and maintain two generic mailboxes in repairs, Surveyors R&M and Variations.
  • Update our housing management system, OHMS, with repairs information, and supply updates requested from other departments within the directorate.
  • Organise surveyors' diaries.
  • Contract Variations when repairs are attended to by our main contractor Wates.
  • Out of Hours repairs, logged, raised and follow ups.
  • Raising work orders generally for the repairs manager.
  • Liaising with residents by telephone and email.
  • Assisting the Quantity Surveyor with invoicing.
  • Organising and inputting data.

Knowledge, skills & experience:

  • Experience of working in a customer focused service.
  • Competent in office computer software packages including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Experience using systems, OHMS & True Compliance (desirable)
  • Experience in repairs and disrepairs (essential)
