Our client a disability charity based in Wandsworth is currently seeking a Business Support Officer to join their team. As a vital team member, you will provide essential administrative, finance and organisational support to the CEO, senior leadership team and people it supports.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Provide comprehensive business support to Senior Management and Operational teams. Act as the primary source of business support for tasks required to deliver an efficient and reliable service.
  • Support the CFO with monthly payroll, bank reconciliation and purchase/sales ledgers.
  • Support the HR Manager and Service Manager with the booking, recording and monitoring of staff training requirements, to ensure staff are compliant and have completed up to date mandatory training.
  • Actively work with the Health and Safety committee to oversee and check actions arising from hazard or incident reports are followed through, lessons are learned, and safeguards put in place.

About you:

  • Experience in managing administration, general running of the centre and/or customer service ideally within a charity or not-for-profit environment.
  • Experience in data inputting and customer communication.
  • Can demonstrate good financial understanding with strong attention to detail.
  • Demonstrate initiative and problem-solving skills to ensure effective administration and organisational systems.
