Description
The key responsibilities of the NAM will be to:
- Develop strong partnerships with customers by networking beyond direct commercial contacts (i.e. their supply teams, senior management etc.)
- Learn the key selling arguments about Andros, their brand and their products. Build and maintain strong internal, cross-functional relationships to ensure your customers get the necessary focus and service
- Execute strategic sales plans to drive sales within the chilled category across branded and/or own label products
- Manage relationships with national grocery clients on a day-to-day basis
- Negotiate and influence commercial processes to agree contracts, CPIs, JBPs, promotional plans, NPD, digital execution, range reviews and share of space across your account base
- Hold overall responsibility for all agreed customer projects to ensure that they continually exceed customer expectations
- Continuously analyse performance and stay ahead of FMCG trends to deliver clear insights and implement necessary actions for change
- Key performance metrics will be NPD listings, distribution optimisation, promotions, volumes and turnover. The company considers that achieving these objectives will deliver the overall financial company target. There is therefore less talk about margins, only the control of the spend budgets and the achievement of the volume growth
- Ensure communication throughout the business is prompt to ensure all departments work harmoniously to achieve exceptional customer service
- Ensure administration tasks are fulfilled (customer creation, promotions etc.) and financial spends are carefully managed
- Participate in sales meetings
