Senior Category Manager - Grocery - 12 Month FTC

Field based - expect c35% travel to H/O & Customers

c£55/65k plus bonus, £6,000 Car allowance & strong benefits package

Our client:

• Our client is one of the fastest-growing and exciting drinks businesses globally, they’re looking for a Senior Category Manager to join their dynamic Commercial team on a 12 month fixed-term contract
• This business operates across multiple categories and customer channels with a portfolio of leading brands
• Internationally recognised with £multi-billion turnover and multiple employer awards

The role:

• This is a Senior Category Manager position focused on working with key strategic customers within the Grocery channel
• 12-Month Fixed-Term Contract position to start in May/June 2025
• Responsible for operating as an independent advisor to retail partners across key product categories, working to identify and recommend opportunities for category growth
• Internally, will act as the Category expert with very close cross-functional working with wider commercial teams including Sales and Marketing
• As Senior Category Manager you will ensure alignment to the category vision, and support the wider-business in key projects including NPD launches

Ideal Senior Category Manager candidate profile:

• Experience at Senior Category Manager or Category Manager level within FMCG
• Current or recent experience working with UK Grocery Retail customers
• Can demonstrate ability to manage multiple categories simultaneously
• Highly analytical, with good understanding of turning insights to action and working with data providers
• Outstanding communication skills, able to build relationships quickly and challenge the status quo where necessary
• Commercially savvy with experience working with cross-functional teams
• Resilient, can demonstrate agility and personal accountability
