We are seeking a Buying Manager to join a well-established retail management company in the UAE.

This pivotal role offers the opportunity to lead, build, and develop a new team focused on sourcing and buying luxury jewellery, contributing to the growth and success of the brand.

The role and responsibilities Buying Manager - Jewellery:

• Developing and executing annual and seasonal buying strategies to meet financial targets and uphold brand objectives.
• Designing and delivering product assortments that appeal to target customers in terms of style, quality, and value.
• Creating and managing category budgets, including range planning, stock distribution, and inventory forecasting.
• Ensuring alignment with KPI's such as sales, gross margin, stock turnover, and product availability through strategic planning and monitoring.
• Designing and delivering product assortments that appeal to target customers in terms of style, quality, and value.
• Overseeing in-season product performance, making data-driven recommendations for stock, pricing, and assortment adjustments.
• Sourcing top-quality products by utilising industry networks and nurturing strong supplier partnerships.
• Conducting comprehensive market research to identify emerging trends and incorporate findings into buying strategies.
• Partnering with cross-functional teams, including design, planning, and marketing, to ensure cohesive strategies across all channels.
• Driving product innovation by integrating market trends and customer feedback into buying decisions.
• Acting as the voice of the customer by analysing market dynamics, competitive landscape, and consumer insights to guide buying choices.

To be successful in this Buying Manager - Jewellery:

• Ideally having minimum of 5 years' experience in buying and category management, preferably in fine or fashion jewellery
• Proven experience in branded jewellery buying and sourcing, with a deep understanding of global trends
• Have experience working for a retailer to manging the jewellery category portfolio.
• Strategic thinker with a passion for luxury retail and an eye for detail.
• Excellent negotiation, communication skillset
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Willing to relocate to the UAE.
