Our client is on a mission - to help patients have a better quality of life.
Due to having a market leading Medical Technology in their specialism, they are growing exponentially.
Their CE mark approval for their surgical agent product, means the demand for a new EMEA Supply Chain manager, to manage some modules of planning, procurement, import, production and distribution.
The ultimate responsibility of the EMEA Supply Chain Manager is to ensure right the amount of products are manufactured at the right time so no product shortage occurs without having excess stocks of raw materials and products, and the products are delivered to customers on time.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Engage an upgrade of the supply chain management to support the growing business, firstly through improving existing processes working closely with global colleagues, and in the future through implementing a new system or technology to cope with high volume and more complex business flows.
- The EMEA Supply Chain Manager will play a critical role for EMEA Supply Chain closely working with colleagues in Supply Chain.
- Be responsible for some modules of supply chain processes - planning, procurement, import, production, storage, and distribution in the EMEA business
- Control the European contract manufacturer to ensure the products are manufactured according to the production plan
- Liaise with the teams in other regions to coordinate the procurement of raw material and delivery of inventories
- Collaborate with the rest of the internal teams - sales, regulatory affairs, quality management, finance, legal and operations
- Anticipate problems before they occur (e.g. packaging material shortage) and minimise the risks that could affect or interrupt the supply chain
- Manage relationships with suppliers (contract manufacturer, storage, and logistics providers) on occasion.
- Follow internal procedures and guidelines, and keep an accurate record of supply chain processes
- Travel to the French site (on occasion).
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- 3+ years of operations / supply chain management experience within the Medical Devices or Pharmaceutical sector
- Good IT and data management skills
- Fluent in writing and speaking in English
- Bachelor’s degree ideally business related e.g. operations, finance, IT
Desirable:
- Experience of managing contract manufacturer and 3PL
- Project management skills
- Proficiency in French
