The Business:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive a Procurement agenda into a growing space i.e. being proactive and taking hold and ownership of opportunities, shaping deals and driving governance, often within tight timescales
  • Ownership of large levels of spend across a wide range of IT procurement projects. Projects will vary in value from c.1m up to 100m+
  • Run strategic procurement projects end to end in IT sub-category areas such as SaaS, Cloud, Software, Telco
  • Challenge stakeholders to a senior level in the right way in order to drive the procurement agenda and achieve positive, 'value-add' results

Key Skills:

  • You must be proactive in your approach
  • Resilient in character - able to challenge stakeholders to achieve a positive result
  • Have a strong track record within the IT category, ideally in SaaS, Cloud, Software or Telco
  • Able to navigate a large complex blue-chip environment and cut through the noise, prioritising effectively
  • Someone who understands what 'best in class' procurement looks like and can bring new ideas to the table
  • An ability to develop and implement category strategy
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ideally experience in the IT industry
  • CIPS/Degree or equivalent qualification would be useful
