Operations Manager - Personal Care Retailer

Overview: An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Operations Manager to join a growing team within the personal care and cosmetic industry. This new role is pivotal to ensuring smooth operational processes across multiple regions, with a focus on shipping, forecasting, retailer registrations, and product registrations.

Role: The successful candidate will bring a blend of technical expertise, analytical thinking, and attention to detail to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

• Oversee and coordinate shipments from manufacturers to warehouses in the UK and Globally.
• Manage purchase orders, delivery notes, and the creation of invoices.
• Forecast demand and manage stock levels to meet retailer and consumer needs.
• Handle retailer registrations, including new product registration across multiple countries, particularly for personal care products.
• Support the back-end management of Shopify, including tasks such as editing photos and making changes to product listings.
• Ensure compliance with international product registration requirements, including detailed forms and documentation.
• Collaborate with internal teams to streamline operations and improve workflow.
• Liaise with new retailers, such as large department stores, ensuring a smooth onboarding process.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in an operational role, ideally within e-commerce personal care or a related sector.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills, with a proactive approach to forecasting and problem-solving.
• Attention to detail, particularly when managing shipping logistics and product registrations.
• Technical proficiency, including experience with Shopify and familiarity with EDI platforms.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with international product registration processes, particularly for cosmetics and personal care products, is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum

Location: Remote role, open to candidates based anywhere in the United Kingdom.
