Your new companyWe are supporting a global telecoms business here in the heart of London as they are looking for a European Procurement Manager to cover most of the indirect procurement. This business is a leader in their field and has grown through acquisitions, therefore making this a diverse and interesting landscape to work in.Your new roleAs the Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end procurement of both IT & non-IT procurement (notably HR & Marketing spend) and others. You will be responsible for working with the Procurement Director to design and implement category and procurement strategies. Alongside this, you will be working with your key stakeholders in partnership to understand the needs of the business and drive the best value across the supply chain. After the supplier award, you will also be responsible for building on that relationship and ensuring supplier performance management where needed.What you'll need to succeedTo succeed in this role, you will have prior experience in indirect procurement with notable projects in IT/ HR/ marketing spend - or at least two of the three. You will have great stakeholder and supplier engagement skills, and ideally have experience working across an international supply base.What you'll get in returnIn return, whilst this is a fixed-term contract, it is a longer-term one we have seen - c 14 months in length with further opportunities within the business beyond this point. This business is in the centre of London with a hybrid working policy, the expectation being you are in the office 2-3 days per week.
