Your New Role
You will be reporting into the CFO, supporting their procurement needs by managing the procurement function, with one individual reporting into you. As this company continues to grow, their need to manage indirect spend has become vital to the success of the business. You will be engaging with key stakeholders in the business to understand needs and influence procurement processes internally. This role will cover general indirects with a strong emphasis on marketing and event spend.
You will be responsible for
You will be managing key buying categories whilst reviewing and approving all purchase requisitions across the business. You will lead all sourcing activities and tender processes, targeting cost-saving in line with businesses' KPIs. You will be building and maintaining relationships with key suppliers and stakeholders, whilst defining the strategic goals for other categories via the line management of the junior procurement manager. You will be the key point of contact for the procurement function, able to support the CFO with additional procurement projects when they arise.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have experience working within indirect procurement, with experience in the marketing & event categories. You will be fluent in English with excellentCommunication skills, both written and verbal. You will have proven business partnering experience with commercial awareness and a customer focus and a confident and positive attitude, an ability to challenge conventional thinking. You will have a good working knowledge of Office and ideally, good working knowledge of SAP or an understanding of the principles of purchase requests.What you'll get in returnYou will be entitled to a base salary of £65,000 p/a as well as a range of other benefits such as bonus and private healthcare. You will work in Greater London with hybrid working (3 days inthe office the week).
