Mapped Recruitment is delighted to be partnering with a growing agency with a presence in London, Milan, New York, and Hong Kong, to name a few, on their hire of a permanent Procurement Manager to join their team in London.
As a Procurement Manager based in London (centrally located) you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient and cost-effective procurement of materials, equipment, and services required for projects in relation to (shop-fitting, millwork, construction, and visual merchandising sectors)
You will collaborate with project manager teams to optimize our supply chain, manage vendor relationships, look after tender and bill of quantities and drive savings while maintaining the highest standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Vendor Management - Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers and subcontractors.
- Collaborate with project managers and department heads to determine procurement needs.
- Source materials, equipment, and services per project requirements and budget constraints.
- Implement procurement strategies that optimize cost savings without compromising quality.
- Cost Control - Monitor and control procurement budgets for multiple projects simultaneously.
- Quality Assurance: Establish and enforce quality standards for procured materials and services.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and procurement policies.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field (Master's degree preferred but not essential
- A minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role - ideally within the millwork, shop-fitting, construction, or related industry.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- In-depth knowledge of procurement regulations, sourcing strategies, and supply chain management.
- Proficiency in procurement software
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
