ARM are delighted to be supporting one of our clients with the recruitment of a Procurement Manager to join one of our clients on an initial 3 month basis.
The procurement Manager will develop procurement strategies and category plans and deliver best value and efficient procurements of works, services and supplies for a defined category, asset group or delivery area in the Chief Operating Officer's team.
To succeed in this role the job holder will need to collaborate effectively with commercial and delivery colleagues to identify best value opportunities and will apply compliant and best practice procurement processes. From time to time the job holder may be required to manage 1 or 2 procurement staff in support of the delivery of complex procurements
Requirements:
- CIPS/RICS membership (or eligibility for membership)
- Educated to degree level, or equivalent.
- Sound knowledge of European and UK Procurement Law and other relevant legal and regulatory requirements
- Good grasp of financial and procurement controls, processes and systems
