Our ClientA well-established social housing organisation committed to providing quality housing services.The RoleA permanent position within the Maintenance & Estates Service team, focusing on procurement for property maintenance, including component replacement, building services, and compliance works. You'll be joining an established procurement team and will be the primary contact for these specialist areas.Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead end-to-end procurement processes for complex maintenance contracts
  • Create and manage tender documentation for various property services
  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders to develop procurement strategies
  • Ensure compliance with Public Contracts Regulations
  • Manage relationships with suppliers, contractors, and internal stakeholders
  • Report on procurement spend and efficiencies achieved
The Successful Candidate
  • Substantial experience in public sector procurement (such as social housing or local authority) particularly with PCR regulations
  • Proven track record in managing full-cycle procurement processes
  • Experience in creating tenders from scratch through to contract award
  • Strong background in property maintenance/building services procurement
  • Excellent project management and stakeholder communication skills
  • Ability to analyse complex financial data and demonstrate commercial acumen
  • CIPS qualification desirable
