Cedar are pleased to be supporting a London based authority in the Recruitment of a Procurement Manager, to work on a permanent basis across the Social Care Category.

The role will require you to get into the London office twice per week and is offering a salary of up to £67,000 per annum.

The main purpose of the role is to manage the full life cycle of complex projects from cradle to grave, drive a commercial strategy by driving value for money, developing market knowledge and to build strong relationships with both suppliers and strategic commissioners.

You will be supporting on the delivery of strategic projects including negotiations or competitive dialogue and offering advice at critical stages of the procurement's.

You'll be expected to support on the development of category strategies and price models across the social care spend and monitor supplier performance after post contract award.

Experience Required:

  • Experience of managing complex procurement projects across the social care spend
  • Experience of working via different routes to market ie. competitive dialogue
  • Experience of working to PCR2015 in a similar setting
  • Experience of developing category or procurement strategies
  • MCIPS qualification (Desirable)
