- 40 hour per week contract
- Shifts are usually Monday to Friday with weekends off. Some days with early deliveries may require and early start
- This role is based within the hotel's dynamic 24/7 environment, requiring on-site presence five days a week
- You will report to the hotel Financial Controller
As a Purchasing Manager you will be responsible for:
- To support the Head of Departments to identify any products, services and equipment to be purchased and research new suppliers finding the best price
- To check, weigh, temperature probe and store all deliveries in the hotel ensuring all credit notes are requested and received and delivery notes correspond correctly to orders with the correct pricing
- To maintain purchase records through Procure Wizard
- TO ensure quality stock control and assist with month end stock takes
- To assist with negotiating supplier contracts and uploading them on the internal portal for approval
- Providing a safe working environment in the kitchen, wash-up and back of house areas
