We have partnered with a large organisation and are currently looking for a Sourcing Manager. Public Sector experience is essential for this job.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:- Lead and Execute: Manage a diverse range of tenders, mini competitions, frameworks, and contract negotiations.
- Drive Savings: Identify and support the delivery of cost-saving opportunities to meet departmental and business targets.
- Ensure Compliance: Adhere to our Procurement Policy and the Utilities Contract Regulations 2016 (UCR2016).
- Strategy Development: Craft tender strategies that maximize value for money and integrate continuous improvement.
- Market Insight: Provide analysis and engage with the market to inform strategic decisions and represent our procurement efforts externally.
- Contract Management: Draft, negotiate, and review contract terms and conditions, ensuring alignment with business needs.
- Supplier Relations: Build and maintain robust supplier relationships, fostering ongoing positive communication.
- Innovate and Improve: Develop and implement strategies for cost reduction and operational improvement.
- Expertise Required: MCIPS qualification (or in progress) with at least five years in a strategic procurement role.
- Proven Performance: Demonstrable experience in managing large value, complex tenders across various categories.
- Strategic Thinker: Strong commercial acumen with a track record of delivering cost benefits and innovative solutions.
- Relationship Builder: Exceptional skills in developing and managing internal and external business relationships.
